RCS Food Program

"The moral of the story with the Richmond school kitchen is as simple as the menu. The truth of our food is how hard we work to keep the ingredients local and at their peak: our goal is to pass along the best Berkshire County has to offer. In the winter we still have local apples, squash & garlic. Some years we have had local potatoes through February, it is dependent on the farmers' crops. Our soups are made from our own stock, we make most of our bread; students love our hand cut oven baked fries " (Tammy Jervas).
