Our incredible artists at RCS!

Last week Mrs. O'Donnell taught a lesson on Bark Paintings inspired by Amate Mexican Folk Art. Students created their own pigments using things from nature and the kitchen! (tumeric, cocoa powder, pepper, water, oil, ground cloves, food coloring, pesto, paprika, chili powder, charcoal, and flower pollen). Nicely Done Heidi (6th grade) for the birds, Rowen(3rd grade) for the desert and Ella( 8th) for the sun!
